I am very pleased to have received the main prize, the Gladys Teesdale award, at the Welland Valley Art Society Autumn Exhibition 2018 for my mixed media painting 'Beanz Bouquet'. I had a lot of fun painting this during the course of my Open Studio event this summer. The WVAS exhibition is well worth a visit ( I have another 3 paintings there too!) and is open from 1 - 13 October.Patchings 2018

I am delighted to report that my mixed media painting ‘The Old Shed’ has been selected to be shown at the 206th exhibition of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (‘the RI’) at the Mall Galleries in London. I am extremely grateful to the selectors for choosing my painting from the over 1,100 works submitted this year. To have my work exhibited alongside those of the extremely talented members of the RI will be an absolute privilege (albeit rather daunting too!)The exhibition opens on 6th April and runs until 21st April at the Mall Galleries, just off Trafalgar Square.
